Three short sessions of ringing in a garden (29-31 July 2019) near Umfolozi River Lodge yielded 77 birds of 22 species. The garden is in a Sappi plantation but some indigenous trees attract a wide variety of interesting species. The photos below show selected species pairs. Several birds were recaptured from ringing visits over the last few years.
